Annual Leave

28 days of annual leave each year, plus bank holidays. Pro-rata for part time staff.

Lifestyle Leave

A supportive approach to lifestyle needs, such as time off to deal with emergencies and compassionate leave.

Childcare Vouchers

A way to pay for your registered childcare and save yourself Tax and National Insurance.

Pension

Join VoiceAbility pension scheme and receive 5% of basic pay into the scheme when you pay in 3%.

Cycle to Work Scheme

In partnership with Cyclescheme Ltd, you can exchange basic salary in return for a bike and safety security equipment (up to £1,000) and save yourself tax and national insurance.

Performance Management

Regular meetings with your manager to help you progress and develop in your role, plus an annual appraisal to plan your tasks and personal development for the year ahead

Employee Assistance Programme

We provide an Employee Assistant Programme through an independent wellbeing organisation, to help employees deal with the pressures of home and work life.  It gives free confidential advice on health, finances and life’s challenges and a free and confidential counselling service.

Learning and Development

Your professional development is important to us.  As well as regular training and sharing good practice, we provide time and financial commitment to support individual learning and development relevant to your role.

Flexible Working

We offer part time and flexible working to fit with other commitments.

Leave for Parents

Maternity or adoption leave - up to 52 weeks.

Paternity leave - 2 weeks around the time of birth plus up to 26 weeks of additional paternity leave.

Parental leave - up to 18 weeks for each child.

We also offer shared parental leave.

Life Assurance

Provided free from the start of employment and pays two times basic salary to your dependents if you die whilst employed by VoiceAbility.

Sick Pay

If you are unwell and can’t work you can receive up to 2 months’ full pay and 4 months’ half pay whilst on authorised sick leave, dependent on your length of service.
