London Borough of Hounslow

In the London Borough of Hounslow we work in partnership to offer different types of advocacy.

Our partners are Mind in Ealing and Hounslow, and RAD (Royal Association for Deaf People). The partnership currently offer 3 services; NHS Complaints Advocacy, Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA), and Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA). You can find more about each service below.

Do you want to make a complaint about a service you or someone you know have received from the NHS but are not sure where to start? VoiceAbility advocates can work with you in a variety of ways to ensure you understand your options and get the best outcome for you. We also have a dedicated website which has a wide range of information to support you make a complaint.

The Hounslow advocacy partnership provides the IMHA service for people who need support with their rights under the Mental Health Act. Advocates from Mind Ealing and Hounslow will be able to support you; find out who they can support and what they can do here.
