Independent Travel Training

VoiceAbility is working to set up an Independent Travel Training and Travel Buddying services which enables people with disabilities from across different areas to develop their skills and independence, through supporting and enabling them to undertake particular journeys independently.

These projects work with people who currently use local authority transport, either by supporting them to learn to travel particular journeys independently or through providing them with a volunteer buddy who will support them to undertake the journey with support.
