Lincolnshire Learning Disability Partnership
This page is for people with learning disabilities in Lincolnshire, and their carers and support providers.
All about making sure the voices of people with a learning disability are heard. People have a right to respect, to be heard, to be safe and lead a healthy lifestyle.
What is the Learning Disability Partnership?
Learning Disability Partnership is a network of people and groups who have an interest in the wellbeing of people with a learning disability of all ages in Lincolnshire and their families.
The group believes that people who use social care and specialist health services and their families have knowledge and experience that can be used to help make services better.
Our Speak Out Leaders support people to get involved in all aspects of the running and delivery of the Learning Disability Partnership, including board meetings and working groups.
The main purpose of the Learning Disability Partnership is to:
- Help improve outcomes for people with learning disabilities.
- Give them opportunities to have a voice about things that affect their lives and their communities.
What does Speak Out Lincolnshire do?
- Acts as a voice for people of all ages who have a learning disability, their families and carers.
- Supports people to get involved in all aspects of the facilitation of Lincolnshire County Council’s Learning Disability Partnership.
