There’s #MoreToHealth than the NHS

Ahead of the General Election we've joined 60 other charities to demand a better debate on health. Read our collective statement.

Life expectancy gains have stalled, and we are living more years in bad health. The NHS is essential in addressing health inequality, but good health is about so much more. 

We're proud to be one of the 61 charities that have come together to highlight the need to broaden the debate on health, and recognise the importance of communities.

Our collective statement warns:

"The debate during the election is at risk of being too simplistic and missing the point. [...] We believe it needs to shift further still — beyond a fixation with services, to a broader view of health that focuses on what people need for good, healthy lives."
