Do you want to make a complaint about a service you or someone you know have received from the NHS but are not sure where to start? VoiceAbility advocates can work with you in a variety of ways to ensure you understand your options and get the best outcome for you. We provide IMHA services across Birmingham City. This is a statutory independent mental health advocacy service for people who need support with their rights under the mental health act.

Social care teams in the local authority have a duty to make sure that people are fully involved in understanding and making decisions about the care and support they need. For people who will find it very hard to be fully involved in the care process, independent advocacy is available.
