Manchester Advocacy Alliance
Rather than recreating or replicating existing spaces and resources, we want to work together to bridge gaps. We want to amplify the amazing things already achieved and identify existing networks who we can work alongside.
Manchester Advocacy Alliance is a project delivered by VoiceAbility and funded by Manchester City Council on behalf of Manchester Local Care Organisation.
The alliance is a network of people and organisations working together to remove the barriers that stop individuals being heard. The alliance also enables more people to understand their health and social care rights and gain the tools and skills to speak up for those rights.

VoiceAbility travel to the future at Town Anywhere: Manchester
On 3 and 4 November 2025, participants from across Manchester and beyond gathered to rehearse the future. Together we imagined ourselves in a town called Anywhere in 2038.
The vision for the town called Anywhere was a place where everyone can live healthy lives, empowered to speak up for how they want to live and the care they want to draw upon and provide.
We came up with over 250 ideas of what was needed to achieve that vision.
We may have returned to 2025, but Town Anywhere: Manchester was just the start. Now we will work together to shape and implement those ideas into reality.
