Manchester Advocacy Alliance

Rather than recreating or replicating existing spaces and resources, we want to work together to bridge gaps. We want to amplify the amazing things already achieved and identify existing networks who we can work alongside.
Manchester Advocacy Alliance is a project delivered by VoiceAbility and funded by Manchester City Council on behalf of Manchester Local Care Organisation.
The alliance is a network of people and organisations working together to remove the barriers that stop individuals being heard. The alliance also enables more people to understand their health and social care rights and gain the tools and skills to speak up for those rights.

Manchester Advocacy Alliance invites you to step into the future
- Do you want more people to be able to advocate for their own health and care, and of their friends, family and community?
- Do you want to collaborate with voluntary organisations and Manchester citizens to create the changes needed to make that happen?
Join us at Town Anywhere: Manchester and/or Explore Town Anywhere: Manchester to imagine and build the future together.
Town Anywhere: Manchester is a large-scale, participatory, visioning experience. The aim is to bring together those who live, work, or have an interest, in the future of Manchester as a place where everyone can advocate for themselves, their friends, family and community when it comes to their health and care.
Open your imagination, collaborate with people from different communities, and spark ideas for projects and approaches to bring about real change.
