Scotland Adult Disability Payment: an independent review
The Chair of the Independent Review of Adult Disability Payment is seeking evidence from various audiences about the first year of delivery.
The review will take an inclusive and transparent approach to engaging with stakeholders, and the evidence will be used to help inform recommendations to ensure that Adult Disability Payment meets the needs of disabled people.
There will be opportunities for people to contribute throughout the review. Although anyone can respond, the call for evidence is primarily intended for organisations, and VoiceAbility will be responding.
There is a separate consultation, mostly for people with lived experience of accessing, or trying to access, Adult Disability Payment. This includes disabled people, people with long-term health conditions and people with a terminal illness. The closing date is 23 August 2024.
