Advocacy for children and young people

I trust you. After your visit I felt pretty good. You allowed me to express myself. You’ve got a special skill.

Specialist support is available for some children and young people

Advocacy is usually available for children and young people who:

  • are Looked After Children (LAC)
  • live in a secure children’s home
  • are going through the Child Protection process
  • have Special Educational Needs (SEND)
  • are in transition to adult care and support services

However, this can vary by area.

Who offers advocacy for children and young people in my area?
