Advocacy for children and young people

I trust you. After your visit I felt pretty good. You allowed me to express myself. You’ve got a special skill.

Specialist support is available for some children and young people

Advocacy is usually available for children and young people who:

  • are Looked After Children (LAC)
  • live in a secure children’s home
  • are going through the Child Protection process
  • have Special Educational Needs (SEND)
  • are in transition to adult care and support services

However, this can vary by area.

Who offers advocacy for children and young people in my area?

We currently only offer advocacy for children and young people in the areas shown below, but there is likely to be another advocacy organisation who offer it in your area if we don’t.
